Recycled 18ct yellow gold

This jumbled gold chain is entirely made by hand. Gold grain is alloyed and melted into ingots which are drawn into wire before being formed into curb chain. Curb chain is defined by its twisted link shape allowing it to lie flat. I have taken this traditional classic and currupted it by soldering the links in awkward positions creating detail and decoration in the jumbles. This necklace is made from recycled gold and can be worn in two lengths - 450mm and 470mm
